The paradores are generally located in the country - while we include hotels throughout the island. Both our 'Small Hotels of Puerto Rico' and 'The Paradores of Puerto Rico' are marketing programs that feature great small hotels. Both 'Small Hotels' and 'Paradores' promote small hotels and inns with local Puerto Rican charm and comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices.

'country inn', so they are mostly located outside of the San Juan metro area
along the west coast of Puerto Rico and in the
