 The 2009 Rincon International
Film Festival will take place April 27 - May 2, 2009 in the beautiful vacationland
of Rincón, Puerto Rico. Festival events take place in and around the
city, where patrons are able to see great films and also enjoy the
beautiful nearby beaches. Come see films playing at beautiful
beachfront resorts. Dinners,
 movies,
parties and beaches to explore and enjoy. This is truly a filmmakers
and film lovers vacation festival.
The mission of the Rincón
International Film Festival is to support and promote culture and the
arts in Puerto Rico through the medium of film. The festival seeks to
inspire student, future and current filmmakers in the art of filmmaking,
and to enhance the movie viewing experience in Puerto Rico through
creative, unique and entertaining events. With special award categories
for Puerto Rican filmmakers and Spanish Language films as well as
International and American Films. Rincon Puerto Rico is also a Surfer's
paradise, so the festival is also looking to screen great surfing films.

to a hotel room, has a queen bed, small sitting area, bathroom,
refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine. An apartment has a living
room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, queen bedroom, bathroom,
patio, all the comforts of home. ALL units have AC, color cable TV,
daily housekeeping & laundry service and are fully equipped.

are a small, private village. Our villas and, even, our
hotel rooms, they all have actual owners based in Puerto
Rico who use their retreats, their villas regularly.
That is one of the reasons that we all feel so comfortable
here at our Caribbean beach resort - that we all know so
many of each other.
And our guest are always, in all ways, as welcome into our
private enclave.
We have only 48 villas and 25 hotel rooms that are actually
part of those villas. No high rise here - just villas of one
or two stories. Of the villas, many are held for the
exclusive use of the owners. So we are a community.
