Small Hotels for the Casals
Music Festival 2008
 One of the highlights of the cultural season
in San Juan is the annual Pablo Casals Music Festival which features
exceptional Puerto Rican musicians and visiting artists from throughout
the world.
The 2008 Festival takes place from February
21st - March 15th and will share performances between two different
concert halls in San Juan. Concerts take place at the Luis A.
Ferré Performing Arts Center at the Bellas Artes performance
complex in Santurce or at The University of Puerto
Rico Theater at the main campus in the Rio Piedras. Both concert halls is easily reached by taxi from any
hotel in the San Juan Metro area - but they are several miles apart. Make
sure that you note where your event takes place.
Tickets usually sell out very fast - so if you
are planning a visit to Puerto Rico in February and March, check the
festival's website at
www.festcasalspr.gobierno.pr for full program details and ticket
availability.
